Robert E. Walls, Jr.

Robert “Hoggy” Eugene Walls, Jr., 65, of Springfield, Ohio passed away peacefully at Hospice of Dayton on Friday, February 17, 2023. He was born in Springfield on June 3, 1957, to Robert Eugene Walls, Sr. and Ella Mae (Davis) Johnson.

Robert leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Rosemary Walls; two sons, Dominique (Nicole) Walls of Ocala, Florida, and Demetrius Warren of Boston, Massachusetts; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; three sisters, Ina (John, Sr.) Moore of Springfield, Ohio, Patricia (Larry) King of Roxbury, Massachusetts, and Barbara Walls of Hingham, Massachusetts; three brothers, Earl (Gloria) Ragland, Joseph (Eva) Hocker, and Kevin (Karen) Hocker all of Springfield, Ohio; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins to whom he was known as “Hoggy Dogg”, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Walls, Sr., Ella “Kookie” Johnson, and Tommy “Tee” Johnson (stepfather); three brothers: Terry Davis, Delbert Davis, Sr., and Curtis Walls.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of Memorial service at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2023 in the Kinley Funeral Home Chapel, 1307 East High St., Springfield, Ohio 45506.
