Robert Lewis Moss IV, 42, of Champaign, Illinois, passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022. Robert Lewis Moss IV, 42 of Cincinnati, Ohio departed this life Thursday, January 6, 2022, returning home for Eternal Rest. He was born on July 22, 1979 to Robert and Bonita Moss. Robert accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 12. Robert attended Cincinnati Public Schools and Graduated from Withrow High School in 1998. During his youth, Robert engaged in many actives such as little league football for the Deer Park Cobras, little league baseball for The Little Red Machines and Karate. He was an expert with the nun chucks. Robert also went on to play high school football for the Withrow Tigers. Robert also enjoyed riding his bike and hanging with friends. He went on to work for Kraft, Inc. To know Robert was to love Robert. He never met a stranger. He was a man of noble character. His humbled approach and charming smile drew others to him like a magnet. His intellect and intuitive spirit brought a sense of peace and clarity to any situation. Robert was always available to lend an open ear and shoulder. He was selfless. His discernment and passion for understanding brought balance to every conversation. Family was always most important. Robert was a devoted and loving father, and nothing was more important than his children were. There was never a dull moment at family gatherings. Robert enjoyed playing cards and dominos with family and friends. He even played video games to remind the kids who the original “gamer” was from time to time. He also enjoyed traveling. You could always catch Robert “Politicking” as he would call it. No gathering was complete until we all knew during a debate or conversation that “It’s deeper than that”. You may have known him as Robert, Little Robert, “Robert Slobert”, or just Rob. No matter what you may have known him as, he has left a piece of himself in all of our hearts. The memories and time spent with him was nothing less than a genuine experience. He had a heart of gold, giving spirit and will truly be missed by us all. Robert leaves to cherish his memory, significant other, Gwenita Grant; children, Malaiyah Moss, Elijah Moss, Mishayla Moss, Ashley Moss, Robert Moss V, and Austin Moss; His sisters, Tara Barwick (Mike), Leah Moss, Magan Hughes (Jimmy), Deja Malone and Brother Carl Wilkerson; Nephew, Michael Barwick; and Niece, Alani Moss. He also leaves a host of loving aunts, cousins and friends. Robert was preceded in death by father, Robert Lewis Moss III. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 21, 2022 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 10180 Woodlawn Blvd, Woodlawn, Ohio 45215. Interment: Landmark Memorial Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to KINLEY Funeral Home and Arrangement Center.
