Ronald Childs

Ronald Childs, 56, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2022. He was born in Cincinnati on January 3, 1966 to the union of Emma (Trice) Childs and Oscar Childs, Sr. He grew up in Winton Terrace. Coming up Ronald loved playing baseball. He attended Swab Elementary and graduated from Aiken High School. Ronald worked in the cleaners in his early years. He loved to dress up and attend concerts with his friends. Although Ronald may have faced some difficulties in life, he remained a wonderful father, friend, and grandfather. Ronald was a diehard Baltimore Ravens fan, who reminded you of his hate for the Cincinnati Bengals every chance he got. He loved his fish, hanging with his friends, and loving on his grandchildren. Laughter always filled the room whenever Ronald was present. He loved to trash talk and crack jokes. Music was also a part of Ronald’s soul. He loved him some Anita Baker and R&B music. Ronald leaves to cherish his memory: his son, Parrish Wallace; four daughters: Kelley Childs, Precious Wallace, Geri Wallace, and Piesha Wallace (honorary daughter); six granddaughters: Ishani, Peyton, Blake, Kaiel, Kai’Leigh, and Jordyn; siblings, Johnny (Renee) Trice, Ella Childs, Oscar (Pamela) Childs, and Margie Childs; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, friends, and associates who loved and will miss him. He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Earlene Childs and Maggie Childs. At the family's request, services will remain private.
