Roni Phalette Greenlee, 65, passed away Friday August 28, 2020 at Bethesda Butler hospital. She was born March 17, 1955 in Cincinnati Ohio, the daughter of Thelma Lee Lanier Smith and Clarence Lanier. Roni Phalette Greenlee was a loving soul. Her birthday falls on St. Patricks Day, which is probably why green is her favorite color. She was a Pisces so she loved her fish and her plants but she loved her children, grandchildren and family even more. Roni loved her some Star Trek (the one with Captain James T. Kirk of course). Roni was a very creative person who wrote poetry. Her artistic abilities were passed on to her kids and grandkids in the form of various musical talents and endeavors. She leaves to cherish her memory 8 children, Robert, Gregory, Kristopher, Douglas, Elton, Sierra, Amatullah and Donna; 4 siblings, Darlene, Neriah, Donna, Kelly; 16 grandchildren, many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and her dearest, best friend, Elaine. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thelma and Clarence; her brother, Larry; and her sister, Denise. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at James Temple Annex, 1119 Lincoln Ave, Cincinnati, Ohio 45206. NOTE: Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Ohio Governor and our city officials have set guidelines and procedures to follow during public gatherings of funeral services. These restrictions have been arranged with the family. Please allow the family to have their private time during the services being held at 11:00 a.m. A larger gathering may be held at a future date (to be announced) at the discretion of the family. Arrangements entrusted to the care of KINLEY Funeral Home.
