Roy E. Williams, 66, of Springfield, Ohio passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2023. He was born on December 9, 1956 to the late Frank Williams and Ruth Harris.
He was an avid sports fan and loved Michigan football and Nascar races. Roy enjoyed fishing and cooking. He was a business owner for many years including H&W Tire and later plant manager for Eagle City Tool & Die. Roy did not know a stranger and touched many lives.
Roy leaves to cherish his memory: his children, Christina (Michael) Pinn, Luckey (Breanna) Williams, Edward (Heather) Williams, Bobbie Jo Williams, Ruth Williams, and Cody Williams; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandson; brother, Neal and Connie Williams of Florida; sister, Joyce Powell and George Pickett of Indiana; a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by one son, Luke Williams; mother, Ruth Harris; brothers, Frank Williams, and Rob Williams; sisters, Ernestine Diehl, and Dolores Shaw; and niece, Shilo Barker.
A Celebration of Life will be privately held by the family.
