Royshaad D’Anthony Williams, 9, of Springfield, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2022, in his home unexpectedly. He was born on April 4, 2012 in Springfield, Ohio.He was the son of Roytique Williams and Deirdre Cordell; and father, Brandon Potts. He always had a smile on his face and a joke on his lips. RoyShaad attended Kenwood Elementary School where he was in the 4th grade. He loved playing his Xbox and his favorite game was Fortnite. He also loved sports, especially Basketball. Royshaad loved all animals, but dogs were his favorite animal. His favorite food was pizza and ice cream and his favorite colors were red and gold. He was a fan of scary movies and loved music and dancing. He was always doing flips and would walk on his hands. He recently mastered being able to do a backflip. He loved swimming and pranking people. He loved to laugh and make others laugh. We will never forget his smile. He will be greatly missed, WE LOVE YOU ROYSHAAD! Royshaad leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Roytique Willams and Deirde Cordell; father, Brandon Potts of Urbana, Ohio; his brother and sisters, Chace and Diem Cordell of Springfield, Ohio, Ara and Cecelia "Cici" Potts of Urbana, Ohio; his grandparents, Annette Sims and Danny Sims of Hampton, Georgia, Stephanie Simpson of Springfield, Ohio and Debra Mills of Springfield Ohio; his many aunts, Antonique Lytle and Danicia Lytle of Jonesboro Georgia and Amanda Rockfield of Springfield, Ohio; his uncle, Tony Jones of Springfield, Ohio; and his many cousins, Jaye, I’Yonna, Major, Caleb, Taylar, Khiro all of Jonesboro, Georgia, Maverick Keeton, Autumn Aultz, Mila Aultz, Kenadi Lowe of Springfield, Ohio and his other cousin, Braydon Jones from Hawaii; special aunt, Marina Lytle of Springfield, Ohio; and a host of many friends and family that will never forget him. Royshaad was preceded in death by his grandfather, Leroy Walker Williams. Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 20, 2022 in the Kinley Funeral Home Chapel, 1307 East High St, Springfield, Ohio 45505. Arrangements entrusted to KINLEY Funeral Home.
