Sarah J. Williams

Sarah Jane Williams, 73, of Springfield, Ohio, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2023, while residing in Arbors of Springfield. Born on November 8, 1949, to Daniel and Ellen Williams, Sarah was a woman of great faith who had a deep and abiding love for her Lord and Savior.

Throughout her life, Sarah was a shining example of kindness and love, always putting others before herself, facing everything with happiness and humor. Her gentle and loving nature endeared her to everyone who knew her, and her warm smile and generous spirit will be greatly missed.

Sarah is survived by her son, Matthew (Nikki) Williams; brother, Daniel (Phyllis) Williams; sister, Sylvia Ames; and granddaughters, Sara and Olivia Williams. She was also a cherished aunt to several special nieces and nephews.

Sarah was preceded in death by her spouse and life partner, Bobby (Boo) Owens; as well as, sisters, Dorothy Howard, Shirley Robinson, Barbara Walker, and Mary Channels; and brothers, Bobby Williams and Charles Williams.

A long-time member of the Apostolic Tabernacle Church, Sarah was devoted to her faith and loved nothing more than spending time in worship and prayer. Her unwavering faith and steadfast love for her family and friends will be a lasting legacy that will continue to inspire all who knew her.

Sarah's passing leaves a void in the lives of all who knew her, but her memory will live on through the countless lives she touched with her kindness and love. She will be greatly missed, but her spirit will continue to shine bright in the hearts of all those who loved her.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of Memorial service at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2023 in the Kinley Funeral Home Chapel, 1307 East High Street, Springfield, Ohio 45505.
