Sharlene Marie Whitlatach

Sharlene Marie Whitlatch, 75, of Parkersburg, West Virginia passed away Sunday, March 8, 2020 at home surrounded by family following a brief illness. She was born January 5, 1945 in Parkersburg, West Virginia a daughter of the late Edward Ray Vandergrift and Ruby P. Vandergrift (Kragnes). She attended the End Time Harvest Church and was a member of The Order of Eastern Star, Clara Edna chapter #140 and Elizabeth M. Hood. Sharlene loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her hobbies included gardening and crafts. Sharlene enjoyed playing games with family and friends, and participating in church activities. Sharlene leaves to cherish her memory: her children, Monica (Dave) Fiorini of Springfield, Ohio, Eric D. Whitlatch of Parkersburg, West Virginia, Denise (Tricia) Yeary of Miamisburg, Ohio, and step-daughter, Kimberly Conley of Tampa, Florida; 8 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Jerry Whitlatch of Dallison, West Virginia; two brothers-in-law, Ray David Whitlatch and Mark Edward Whitlatch of Parkersburg, West Virginia; and a host of other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny E. Whitlatch; brothers, Edward Ray Vandergrift, Jr. and Delbert Eugene Vandergrift; and in-laws. The family will have a Celebration of Life later in the year. Sharlene will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Arrangements entrusted to the care of KINLEY Funeral Home.
