Sharon Denise Lawson-Dennis

Sharon Denise Lawson-Dennis, 57, of Springfield, Ohio passed away Sunday, December 29, 2019. She was born June 4, 1962 in Sparta, Georgia, a daughter of Earl Lawson, Sr. and Josephine (Grable) Lawson-Core. She was known for her infectious smile, beautiful voice, and her great cooking. Sharon took pleasure in spending time with her family and took much pride in her children, as they filled her heart with joy. Sharon leaves to cherish her memory: her son, Michael Jerome Crowley, Jr.; four granddaughters; one grandson, Gary Lawson; father, Earl Lawson, Sr.; mother, Josephine (Grable) Lawson-Core; brothers, Earl Dwain (Lanona) Lawson, Jr., Richard E. Lawson and Willie James Wells, Jr.; sister, Serena Lawson-Crawford; special friends, Shelly Williams, Joanne Ward, Debbie Crafter and Cerena Holtz; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her children, Cleon Crowley, Gary Lawson and Eboney Lawson; and a granddaughter, Kinya Matoria Lawson. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at New North Street AME Church, 901 South Center Street, Springfield, Ohio 45506.
