Sheila Yolanda Baker

Sheila Yolanda Baker, 43, of Cincinnati, Ohio answered the call of God to eternal life on Thursday, November 25, 2021. She was in Cincinnati on born July 7, 1978 to Cecilia and Tony A. Baker, Sr. She grew up in Madisonville, the third child of the four Baker kids. Sheila adored her brother, Tony, Jr. She walked in her big sister Shawna’s every footstep. Sheila was the loving caretaker of her own living baby doll—her younger sister, Sheri. Sheila was baptized in Jesus' name and filled with the gift of the Holy Ghost at an early age at New Jerusalem Apostolic Temple, under the leadership of the Late Bishop Alfred H. Nickles. She is a product of the Cincinnati Public School system, graduating from Withrow Senior High School. Sheila loved working in customer service. She worked for various restaurants in the city. Sheila worked the majority of the last thirty years for Wendy’s Corporation, serving as manager of the Wendy's on Redbank Road for the last four years. She was a people person. Sheila wanted everyone around her to be happy. She was a loving, affectionate, and giving person. Sheila would do whatever she could to bring joy to the hearts of others. She loved her family. Sheila was the spirit of every family event. She was a cheerleader to all of her nieces and nephews, and a mentor to the young people with whom she worked. Shelia loved life, travel, and music. Her joyful spirit will be remembered and cherished by her mother, Cecilia (Trabet); father, Tony, Sr. (Valerie); uncles, Robert (Dee), and Delay (Joan); siblings, Tony, Jr. (Kendra), Shawna (Jermaine), and Sheri (Antwain); nieces and nephews: Tashia (Bo), Tatyana, Tia, Deanthony, Veronique, Nehemiah, Ras Daniel, Empress, Jahmaine, Queen Mary, Antwain, Jr. (Jerica), Mekeda, Khar’e, Pashence, and Tobias; loving cousin/brother, Joseph Lowry; and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, family, and friends. Visitation will be held at 11:00 AM with service to follow at 12:00 PM on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Faith Temple Church of God, 825 Rockdale Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45229. Arrangements entrusted to KINLEY Funeral Home and Arrangement Center.
