Stephen Lee Maine, 54, of Springfield, Ohio passed away unexpectedly in his home on Thursday, December 22, 2022. He was born in Springfield on May 24, 1968, son of Roger L. Maine, of Bellefontaine, and the late Sharon Wynn Jackson.
He loved the ocean, fishing, hiking, boating, metal detecting, and visiting Key West. Stephen will always be remembered as being fun-loving with a big heart.
Stephen leaves to cherish his memory: his father, Roger L. Maine of Bellefontaine; sons: Nick Maine of Fairborn, Jarred Frazier of Springfield, Cory and Skylar Maine of northern Ohio; sisters, Cathy (Casey) Burk of Bellefontaine, Lori (Jeff) Clos, Angela (Pat) Titer, and Gina (Jerry) Thompson all of Springfield; aunts: Linda Blevins, Cindy Knotts, Teresa Duncan, Sheila Wynn, Pamela Derr, and Jennifer Brehm; uncles, Jeff Wynn and Bruce Wynn; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and special friends, Cindy Cox and Tony Pinto.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Wynn Jackson; paternal grandparents, Roger and Stella Maine; maternal grandmother, Virginia Wynn; aunts, Joyce Angell and Delilah Nance; and uncles, Bill Wynn and Keith Wynn.
A Memorial service followed by a Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Green Hills Community Foundation Hall, 6557 US RT 68 S, West Liberty, Ohio 43357.
