Susan Schweller

Susan Jane (Rininger) Schweller, 62, of Wilmington, Ohio passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family after a brief illness on Friday, December 28, 2018. She was born September 5, 1956 in Dayton, Ohio to the late John and Norma Rininger. She spent her early adult years working in early childhood education followed by time raising and supporting her children. Susan also spent her life volunteering with various organizations in Montgomery and Clinton County, including the Boy Scouts of America, the Wilmington School system, and the Clinton County Compeer program. Susan is survived by her husband of 39 years, Ronald L. Schweller of Wilmington, Ohio; two children, Travis (Kate) Schweller and Megan (Matthew) Kaplan; two grandchildren, Laurel and Reid; and two sisters, Julie McBride and Joan (Joel) Whitten. She was preceded in death by her brother, John Rininger. A Memorial Service will be held 9:30 a.m. April 20, 2019 at Davids Cemetery in Kettering, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Compeer Warren & Clinton Counties. Thank you to the staff of Community Care Hospice for their care and support.
