Tammy Howard Furr

Tammy Renee Howard Furr, 56, of Springfield, Ohio passed peacefully from this life the afternoon of Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Springfield Regional Hospital. She was born January 17, 1964 to Donald and Esther Howard in Springfield, Ohio. She was loved by so many, she selflessly dedicated herself to 36 years of service with the developmentally delayed and the mental health population. Giving always from her heart and her time. Tammy helped raise her nieces and nephews, caring for them with her whole heart as if they were her own. Tammy leaves to cherish and honor her memory: her son, Aaron Howard; granddaughters, Areiana and Keaaron; brothers, Michael (Iris) Howard, Donald (Charmaine) Howard, Philip Howard, Kenny (Alicia) Howard, Mark (Nancy) Howard, Byran (Michelle) Howard, and Arnold (Ann Marie) Howard; sisters, Roxann Howard and Mia (Steven) Davenport; best friends, Sara O'Keeffe and Arlena Crockran; and a host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Eric; brothers, Daryl, Stephen and Wayne; sisters, Tina Storey and Kimberly Howard. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at El Bethel Temple, 2049 Clifton Ave, Springfield, Ohio 45505.
