Tashika D. Denton

Tashika Donnell Denton, 64, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Friday, February 4, 2022. She was born the eighth child out of eleven to Henry and Louise Brantley in Birmingham, Alabama on November 18, 1957. She was a small child and was always called “Tee”. She was a happy child growing up in a large family. Tashika considered everyone a friend. She attended Madisonville Elementary School, Lyons Junior High, and Withrow High School. Tashika enjoyed having a good time with her friends and family. She loved all her nieces and nephews and was especially fond of Kesha and Kelly. Tashika developed breast cancer which went into remission and returned after a few years of good health. She enjoyed her time and appreciated her sisters taking good care of her during her time of illness. Tashika endured her pain till the end. She grew tired near the end and did not want any of her family to be sad and grieving. Tashika has a hope toward God that she will see all her family once again under healthier conditions in the resurrection. Tashika leaves to cherish her memory: son, Antonio Darnell Denton; siblings, Charlotte (Gregory) Allen, Phyllis Lewis, Brenda Denton Smith, Vernerica Denton Linnere, Tonia (Dennis) Denton White and Reginald Carl (Clara) Denton; sister-in-law, Cheryl Denton; brother-in-laws, Frank Harris and Stanley Franklin; and a host of nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Louise Brantley; siblings, Curtis Denton, Linda Franklin, Michael Denton and Cassandra Harris; niece, Angel Denton; and nephew, Kevin Linnere.
