Teresa Ann Abbott

Teresa Ann Abbott, 54, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 19, 1965 in Cincinnati, Ohio, daughter of Mary DeGolyer and Bethel Rich. She accepted Christ as her savior. Teresa worked as a Lab Tech at Procter & Gamble for about 15 years. She was always the life of the party. Teresa was a single mother who took care of her daughters with pride. Her personality lit up any room. To know Teresa was to love her! Teresa leaves behind to cherish her memory: daughters, Jodena, Raydena and Wendena; brothers, Chuck (Brenda), Willie (Barb) and Paul; sister, Tisha; her grandbabies, Nathan, Andrew, Johnathan, Rayanna, Kristjan, and Giovanni; and a host of loving cousins, aunts, uncles, and special lifelong friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary “Cathy” DeGolyer and Bethel Rich; husband, Raymond Abbott, Jr.; her oldest daughter, Krisdena Abbott; sister, Cynthia Rich; her stepfather, Paul DeGolyer; mother-in-law, Nancy Davis; and many other loved ones. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at Friendship Baptist Church, 8580 Cheviot Rd, Cincinnati, Ohio 45251. Burial will be held in Oak Hill Cemetery, 11200 Princeton Pike, Cincinnati, Ohio 45246. NOTE: Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Ohio Governor and our city officials have set guidelines and procedures to follow during public gatherings of funeral services. These restrictions have been arranged with the family. Please allow the family to have their private time during the services being held at 12:00 p.m. A larger gathering may be held at a future date (to be announced) at the discretion of the family.
