Theodore Dale Hawke

Theodore Dale (Ted) Hawke, 75, finished his journey on this earth, on Saturday, August 25, 2018, after a seven month period of failing health. He was born on January 30, 1943 in Clark County, Ohio, the son of the late Henry Ross and Ida Louise (Mowell) Hawke. He married Shevia Jean Stokes in 1980. He retired from Thachary Grain Company. Ted moved to Alden, New York in 2005, where he lived until his death. Ted loved his job working for Kis-N-Green Golf Course in Alden. He is survived by a girlfriend, Karen Ramal of New York; a son, Douglas Hawke; and step-daughters, Carla Anderson and Gayla Phillips; six grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Norma Jean Hawke; and several nieces and a nephew. He is preceded in death by his wife, Shelvia; his brother, Henry Lee Hawke; a step-son, Eric Scott Stokes; and a grandson, Michael Phillips.
