Thomas Thurlon Baker, 81, a resident of Troy Care Center passed away Friday, April 26, 2019 in Dayton, Ohio. He grew up on Red River-West Grove Road and lived much of his life in Darke and Miami counties in Ohio, attending Franklin Monroe High School in Pittsburg, Ohio. Also living in Idaho, Oregon, Utah and Mercer County Ohio. Thomas was a truck driver with a career of almost 50 years having driven most of the United States. He was an Air Force Reserve veteran. Thomas loved to ride motorcycles and horses, camp, fish and spend time outdoors. Mr. Baker is survived by his son, Robert and wife Pam of Pleasant Hill; son, Rick and wife Tammy of Dayton; daughter, Debra Davy and husband Nelson of Troy; bothers, Ray of Newnan, Georgia and Mike of Ogden, Utah; as well as, 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mildred (Flesher) Baker and Delbert Baker Mr. Baker will be honored in a private ceremony. A remembrance for family and close friends will be scheduled at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the care of the Jerry W. Kinley Funeral Home.
