Timothy D. Maloney

Mr. Timothy DaWayne Maloney, Sr., 50, of Dayton, Ohio departed this life peacefully on Wednesday, October 18, 2023. He was born in Lexington, Kentucky on February 11, 1973 to Rachel Maloney and Matthew Massey.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters: Gwendolyn, Victoria, and Kimberly Massey; and brother, Gerald Maloney.

Tim worked at several funeral homes, starting at the age of 16 with Bowman’s Funeral Home where he treated every family as if they were his own. He was also an amazing funeral escort. After accepting Christ in his life, he became a member of Harvest Grove Baptist Church, where he was very devoted until his health failed him.

Timothy leaves to cherish his memory: sons, Timothy D. Maloney, Jr., Richard, Tyshawn, Dae’Vonta, and stepson, Damarion Wallace; sisters, Tracey (Charles) Williamson and Pam Massey; brothers, his twin Terry, and Steven (Deidre) Maloney, Willie Henderson, and Darryl Henderson; very special friend and mother of Tim, Jr., Twila D. Wallace; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends. Special thanks to Pastor Ronald Ford and the Harvest Grove Family.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Celebration of Life at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Harvest Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 3323 Highview Hills Road, Dayton, Ohio 45417.
