Vicki L. Crowe

Vicki Lynn Crowe, 66, of Springfield, Ohio transitioned on Sunday, January 22, 2023 at home surrounded by loved ones. She was born December 21, 1956 to the late Leroy E. Lewis, Sr. and Karyl (Hawkins) Lewis.

The love she carried was displayed throughout her life caring for and serving those in and around her community, including the ministry of St. John Missionary Baptist Church, ORBIS Corporation, Empowering People of Whispering Pines, and Springfield City Schools. Vicki had many talents and enjoyed sewing, jigsaw puzzles, and old school music.

Vicki leaves to cherish her memory: sister, Marsha Lewis; brothers, Leroy E. (Rita) Lewis, Jr. and Joseph (Karen) Lewis; nieces, Aisha (Jason) Nickerson, Erika Lewis, Monique Lewis, and Ashley (Austin) Davenport; nephews, Jamey Lewis, Leroy (Deshaun) Lewis III, and Brandon (Jaylene) Lewis; goddaughter, I’Shauni Lewis; granddaughter, Whitney Brown; grandson, Sean Smith II; bonus children, Kevin (Angela) Jeffrey, Sean (Desiree) Smith, and Derrick (Felicia) Miller through previous marriage to Arthur Crowe; special friends, Vickie Russell, Angie Crabtree, and Tina Lickliter; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Laroilyn Byrd and Belinda Metcalf; maternal grandparents, Leadria (Louis) Lewis and James Hawkins; paternal grandparents, George Lewis and Edith Fisher; and special friend, David Boldman.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Vicki's Celebration of Life at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at St. John Missionary Baptist Church, 34 West Pleasant Street, Springfield, Ohio 45506.
