William L. Johnson

William Lamar Johnson “Rocky”, 53, of Springfield, Ohio, went to be home with the Lord on the afternoon of Thursday, January 7, 2021. He was born on Friday, September 22, 1967, to William Stone and Brenda Johnson McConnell of Springfield, Ohio. His overflowing amount of love for all poured out from upon his soul onto all of our hearts. Rocky was a stranger to no one, because he had the gift of gab. He was a man of great skill with a concentration in carpentry. Rocky loved writing, singing, dancing, having a good time, and most of all being with his family. Rocky’s legacy lives on through his children: Dallas Huffman, Kelsey Amerson, William Chalender, Nascha Mays, Tre’Andre Cahill, Elijiah Johnson, Aszenia Johnson, Trae’von Wilgus, Aneisa Johnson, and Amiya Johnson. His legacy will continue to soar throughout an abundance of grandchildren as well. To also honor his legacy he leaves behind three siblings on his Mother’s side: Tammy Reed, Steven Johnson, and Brent Johnson. Additionally on his Father’s side: Elizabeth Tucker, Brandon Stone, and Christopher Allen Stone, Sr. His spirit will continue on through his best friends: Carlton Byrd, Steve Akram, and Kellie Sparks. Rocky was loved by aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Stone and Brenda Johnson McConnell. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at El Bethel Temple, 2049 Clifton Ave, Springfield, Ohio 45505. Burial to follow in Ferncliff Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the care of KINLEY Funeral Home.
