Yalonda Renee Peek

Yalonda Renee Peek, 45, of Cincinnati, Ohio departed this life Sunday, January 17, 2021. She was born July 24, 1975, to the union of Anthony Peek and Sharon Smith. Yalonda’s dream was to become a mother and have children of her own one day. God blessed her with her precious baby girl, Zandra Angelic Yalonda Peek. Yalonda was so proud and happy to finally be a mother. On January 17, 2021, Zandra Angelic Yalonda Peek, blessed this Earth with her presence and then joined her loving mother in Heaven on January 18, 2021. The Most High called his two children home together. At the age of 5 years old, Yalonda loved to sing and dance, especially to her favorite songs, “Flashlight” and “We Are Family”. Yalonda attended Taft High School, Purham; as well as, completing her education at Job Corps. She was employed with Superior Health Services, Greater Cincinnati Airport, Driver for Tank at Northern Kentucky, and her last place of employment, which she loved, was at D.H.L in Covington, Kentucky. Yalonda was best known as “Yodi.” She loved her nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. Often times you would catch her loading them up in her car and taking them off somewhere to spend quality time together. She loved having fun with them. Yalonda leaves to cherish her and Baby Zandra’s memory: father, Anthony Peek; mother, Sharon Smith; brothers, Anthony Peek II and Aaron M. Peek; sisters, Danielle A. Peek and Clara Smith Williams; grandmother, Gladys M. Peek; uncles, Michael Peek, Reginal (Daphne) Peek, and Demetrius Davis; aunts, Patricia Roach, Carolyn Peek; former husband, Terry Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Church of the Living God, 434 Forest Ave, Cincinnati, Ohio 45229. Interment: Oak Hill Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the care of KINLEY Funeral Home.
